A Greetings Island alternative for interactive cards
Greetings Island is a popular free card maker for printable cards and eCards. Overrask is built for something else: cards the recipient plays through, with games, quizzes, music and your photos, sent as a link or printed with a QR code that opens the experience. Here is an honest comparison so you can pick the right tool.
Create the card Free · no app · ready in minutesHow it works
Start from a ready-made template for the occasion or build freely in the studio.
Add photos, your message, music and a surprise if you like.
Publish and share the link, or order the card printed with the QR code inside.
Where Greetings Island is strong
According to its own card maker page, Greetings Island is free with no sign-up, lets you upload photos, logos and monograms, offers stickers, fonts and text effects, and lets you download a high quality PDF to print at home or have them print it. eCards can be shared by social media, text message or email. If you want a classic printable card quickly, it is a good choice.
Where Overrask is different
Overrask cards are made of interactive scenes: quiz, memory, Snake, wheel of fortune, scratch cards, code locks, countdowns and Play together, where guests vote from their own phones. A printed Overrask card carries a QR code that opens your digital card, so a paper card and an interactive experience come in one envelope, and you can still edit the digital part after printing.
Which one should you choose?
Pick Greetings Island if you want a printable design or a simple eCard. Pick Overrask if you want the recipient to do something: play, guess, unlock or vote, or if you want a printed card that opens a digital surprise. Both are free to start, so trying them side by side is the fairest test.
