About Overrask

Overrask is a Swedish service for greeting cards that are more than a piece of paper with two lines. You build a card in several scenes with photos, music, small games and surprises, and the recipient opens it with a link or a QR code on a printed card.

Why we exist

An ordinary card is read once and then ends up in a drawer. We think a greeting should be felt: the recipient gets to laugh, guess, play and be surprised, and the sender can add what makes the relationship unique, like old photos, a song or a quiz about something only the two of you know. That's why we build tools that make it easy to create something personal in a few minutes, even if you have never designed anything before.

Who is behind Overrask?

Overrask is a small Swedish company founded in 2026. Everything from the studio and the games to the cards in the catalogue is built and chosen by us, and we are the ones who reply when you write to customer support.

How the service works

You create the card in our studio in the browser, from a ready-made template or from a blank card.
The card is made of scenes: a start, whatever you like in between and a closing greeting. You can add text, photos, video, music, games and effects.
When you publish, you get a link you can send by text message, e-mail or chat.
If you order a printed card, it is printed on paper with the QR code and your greeting inside, and shipped to you or straight to the recipient.
Premium is an optional subscription that unlocks all games, your own photos and music, a guest book and a lower price on printed cards.

Your privacy

We only collect what the service needs to work. You can delete your cards and your account whenever you like, and cards that have been neither opened nor changed for two years are removed automatically. Payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see your card details. Read more in our privacy policy.
