Terms of use

These terms apply when you use Overrask, create an account or open a card. Purchases are covered by our terms of purchase.

1. About Overrask

Overrask is a service for digital greeting cards with music, games and messages. The cards can be shared with a link or printed with a QR code.

2. Account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You sign in with email and password or with Google.
• Keep your login details to yourself. You are responsible for what is done from your account.

3. Your content

• You own what you create and upload.
• You give us the right to store, show and print the content as far as needed for the service to work.
• You are responsible for having the right to use the images, music, video and texts you add, and for having permission to show other people in your card.

4. Not allowed

You may not use Overrask for content that is illegal, threatening, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or fraudulent, that impersonates someone else or that spreads malicious code. We may remove such content and suspend accounts that break these terms.

5. Sharing cards

• Every card gets its own long, random link. It cannot be guessed.
• Anyone with the link or QR code can open the card. Only share it with the people you want to see the card.
• Without Premium, a short ad may be shown before you get the link.

6. Cards you receive

Cards are created by our users, not by Overrask. We do not review cards before they are shared. The person who created the card is responsible for its content. If you receive an inappropriate card, report it via customer service and we will look into it.

7. Storage and deletion

• A free account has 50 MB of storage and Premium has 200 MB.
• Cards that have been neither edited nor opened for 24 months are deleted automatically.
• You can delete cards and your whole account whenever you want. Deleted content cannot be restored.

8. Premium

Premium costs 3.49 € per month, can be cancelled at any time and lasts until the end of the paid period. Everything about price, cancellation and withdrawal is in the terms of purchase.

9. The service

We want Overrask to work around the clock but cannot promise it will always be free of interruptions. We may change, add or remove features. We announce larger changes in advance.

10. Liability

We are responsible for the service under these terms and mandatory consumer law. We are not responsible for content that users add themselves or for faults caused by things outside our control.

11. Changes

We update these terms when the service or the law changes. The date is shown at the top. For larger changes we notify you before they take effect.
